Job Opportunity: Korean-Speaking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Optum HouseCalls (Queens, NY)

We are excited to share a new opportunity with Optum’s HouseCalls program in Queens, NY. We are looking for a Korean-speaking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in delivering high-quality in-home care.

Incentives:

▪︎$40,000 Student Loan Repayment or

▪︎$30,000 Sign-on Bonus for individuals who have not previously participated in this program


Primary Responsibilities:

▪︎Conduct in-home assessments including medical history review, systems evaluation, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and comprehensive physical exams

▪︎Perform evidence-based screenings including point-of-care testing (as appropriate)

▪︎Identify diagnoses for care and medical management

▪︎Formulate a list of current and past medical conditions using clinical judgment and assessment findings

▪︎Communicate findings to the member’s PCP to address potential gaps in care

▪︎Recognize urgent or emergent situations and respond appropriately

▪︎Educate members on disease processes, medications, and treatment compliance
